Every ticket has a few extra settings that give you more control over who can buy it and when. They're easy to miss, and they solve a lot of real problems.
Where do I find them?
Open your event, go to Manage › Tickets, and add or edit a ticket. Scroll to Advanced Settings.
What can I control?
Set sales window. Choose when sales for this ticket start and end. If you don't set one, the ticket follows your event's publish and start times. The end date is optional, and times use your event's time zone.
Maximum quantity per order. Limit how many of this ticket one order can include.
Link to agenda. Show this ticket as an item on your event agenda. Pick the schedule item it belongs to.
Hide from public. Keep the ticket off your public event page. Only people with a promo code or a direct link can get it, which is useful for VIP, guest, or member tickets.
Disallow transfers. Buyers won't be able to send this ticket to someone else.
Attendee questions. Questions for this ticket are added in Settings › Registration. See Custom checkout questions.
What's an add-on?
At the top of the ticket form you can choose Ticket or Add-On. An add-on is an optional extra that rides along with an order, like parking or a drink special. Every event needs at least one regular ticket, and add-ons are bought alongside it.
What does Show attendee fee do?
In the Price & Quantity section, this switch shows you what the attendee will pay once fees are added to the price you set. It's a quick way to check the number your buyers will see.
Can I use these on any price type?
Most of them, yes. For the different ways to price a ticket, see What ticket pricing options can I use?
