Zapier connects Eventrise to thousands of other apps without writing any code. When something happens in Eventrise, like a new registration, Zapier can automatically do something somewhere else, like adding that person to your CRM or posting to a Slack channel.
If you're unfamiliar with Zapier, it's a service that links apps together so they pass information back and forth on their own. You don't need to be technical to use it. You choose the app you want to connect, tell Zapier what should happen, and it runs quietly in the background from then on. Zapier calls each of these little automations a Zap.
Zapier is in early access
The integration works today, but it isn't listed publicly in Zapier's app directory yet. We're adding organizers by hand while we finish the rollout.

How it works
Every Zap has two halves. A trigger is the thing that happens in Eventrise. An action is what you want to happen somewhere else. You pick the trigger, connect the other app, map the fields you care about, and turn it on.
Once you have access, you'll connect Eventrise to Zapier using an API key from your organizer dashboard. Zapier walks you through it the first time.
Three automations worth starting with
New registration to your CRM. When someone buys a ticket, create or update their contact record. Useful if you track relationships with attendees, sponsors, or members outside Eventrise.
New registration to Slack. Post a message to a channel when a ticket sells. Small thing, but a sales channel that ticks along during an on-sale is genuinely motivating for a team, and it surfaces problems fast when it goes quiet.
New buyer to your email list. Add the buyer to your email platform so they land in your normal audience without a manual export. Worth pairing with a tag for the specific event so you can follow up with the right people later.
When to use something else
Zapier is the right tool when you want to connect two apps without building anything. If you need more control, two other options exist.
The public API gives you read and write access to your event data, so you can build exactly what you want. The MCP server connects AI assistants like Claude straight to your data, which is often faster than a Zap for one-off questions like pulling a sales report.

Does Zapier cost extra?
Nothing from us. Zapier has its own free and paid plans depending on how many tasks you run each month.
Can I automate refunds or check-ins?
Tell us what you're trying to do. The available triggers and actions are still expanding, and early-access requests are shaping which ones we add next.
