How do I track where my ticket sales come from?

Make a tracking link for each poster, post, or sponsor and see the clicks, orders, and revenue each one brings in.

You share your event in a lot of places, like Instagram, a poster, a sponsor's newsletter, and a friend's group chat. Tracking links tell you which ones actually sell tickets.

How do I make a tracking link?

Open your event and go to Marketing › Links. Select New link and fill in the form.

  • Name. Something you'll recognize later, like Instagram Story or Sponsor newsletter.

  • Promo code (optional). Pick a code and it's applied automatically when someone opens the link. This is a nice way to give one audience a discount.

  • Campaign tracking (UTM). Add a Source (for example, instagram), a Medium (it starts as referral), and a Campaign. Term and Content are there if you use them.

Select Create Link. Eventrise gives you a short link to share.

What will I see for each link?

The Links page lists every link with its short link, clicks, orders, tickets sold, revenue, and the date you made it. To keep the list tidy, archived links are hidden unless you turn on Show archived. Select Export CSV to download the list.

How should I use them?

Make a separate link for each place you share your event. One link per poster, post, or partner gives you a clear answer about what worked, so you know where to put your effort next time.
