Understanding Eventrise fees and pricing

Learn about Eventrise fees, including platform and processing charges for paid tickets, and understand how your earnings are calculated for event planning.

Updated this week

Planning an event means managing every dollar carefully. You deserve to know exactly what you're paying and why, without hidden surprises or complex calculations.

What are the fees to use Eventrise?

Paid tickets

We keep it simple: platform fee + payment processing fee (no subscriptions or add-ons):

Platform fee

(Eventrise fee)

2.5%

Processing fee

(Stripe fee)

2.9% + 30¢

Free tickets

If you’re offering free tickets, the pricing is even simpler… there is none! Free tickets are always free.

How does this break down?

Let's walk through pricing when someone buys a $100 ticket:

Ticket price
Cost set by Organizer

$100.00

Platform fee
Eventrise fee (2.5%)

$2.50

Processing fee
Stripe fee (2.9% + 30¢)

$3.20

Attendee pays
Ticket price plus applicable fees

$105.70

You receive

$94.30

What payment processor does Eventrise use?

We use Stripe, the same payment platform trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. This means:

  • Your money is protected with industry-leading fraud prevention

  • Fast, reliable payouts to your bank account as tickets sell

  • Accept payments globally to support international attendees/currency

We don't mark up Stripe's fees or hide them in complex pricing tiers. You get Stripe's standard rates, period. Transparent and fair.

When do I get paid?

Your money starts flowing to your bank account within days of each sale, not weeks after your event ends. This means better cash flow for covering venue deposits, speaker fees, and other upfront costs without dipping into personal funds.
