You can always pay by card. Depending on the event, you may also see Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Link, or a pay-later option like Klarna, Affirm or Afterpay. Each organizer chooses which ones to offer, so the list can change from one event to the next.

What are my options?

  • Card. Every event takes credit and debit cards.

  • Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay and Link. Pay in a tap or two with details you've already saved, without typing your card number.

  • Pay later: Klarna, Affirm and Afterpay (Clearpay in the UK). Split the cost into smaller payments. You pay the provider over time, under their terms, and they handle any approval.

Why don't I see a payment option?

Checkout only shows a method when it will work for you. If you expected one and it's missing, it's usually one of these.

  • The organizer hasn't turned it on for this event.

  • Your device. Apple Pay shows on Apple devices and browsers that support it, and Google Pay on supported Chrome and Android devices. You need a card saved in your wallet to see the button.

  • The order amount. Pay-later providers have minimum and maximum amounts, so they won't show on very small or very large orders.

  • The currency. Each method only shows for currencies it supports.

Does the payment method change what I pay?

Sometimes. Some events add processing fees at checkout, and the fee for Klarna, Affirm or Afterpay is higher than for a card. You'll always see the full total before you pay.

Who do I contact about a pay-later plan?

Your installments, due dates and payment schedule are managed by the provider you chose (Klarna, Affirm or Afterpay), so reach out to them directly. For anything about your tickets or the event, contact the organizer, or email us at support@eventrise.com.
